Wal-Mart joins NEMA

Wal-Mart has joined NEMA, the marketers' group but that does not mean the super marketer intends selling energy, said Chris Hendrix, the firm's retail energy manager for Texas told RT.  He was quick to add that the giant firm is also a member of COMPETE, the advocacy group that favors opening up new markets for competition.  Wal-Mart's intention in joining NEMA was to advance markets and that helps financially the company.  When you consider what Wal-Mart pays for energy, writes NEMA President Craig Goodman, a 10% savings means big bucks.
